Youth Tuesdays!!!
Youth Tuesdays is new! Youth Tuesdays is happening once a month and are open for all teenagers aged 14 – 18 to come along and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where they can catch up with friends while enjoying refreshments such as pizza and ice cream. This event is open to everyone. There will also be guest speakers coming in to give inspirational talks. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, watching or taking part in dramas, games and trips.
Next Event
The next event will be Tuesday, 6th March, 2012 at St. Augustine’s Church Hall from 7:30-9:30pm. Paschal Uche will be speaking at this event. Paschal is a young Catholic and an inspirational speaker. He spoke on behalf of all young UK Catholics when they gathered to greet the Pope when he spoke at the piazza of Westminster Cathedral.
John Watts, a young man musician who is also training to be a priest will perform at this event. He will also speak briefly of his experience in World Youth day in Cologne in 2005. John had this to say of World Youth Day, “For the first time I was faced with a relationship with Jesus whose voice became real and powerful for me. The call for priesthood became more powerful as the encounter with the priests attending WYD was a great encouragement.” Get involved!!!
